It is a resource for open courses in Open Edu (https://www.openedu.tw/). Students can learn Tao in Taiwan or other Austronesian languages (such as Indonesian or Filipino). On the other hand, they can also learn to use digital tools to collect endangered languages and engage in the production and application of digital language teaching materials.
It is an important prerequisite course for learning Tao, the only Filipino language in Taiwan's indigenous language. Students are familiar with the Filipino structure of the sister language, which is very helpful for understanding and learning Tao.
