This webpage presents the Yami (Tao) fish knowledge ontology. Yami culture divides fish into men's (rahet) and women's (oyod) types. Rahet fish have a stronger flavor, while oyod are milder. Men can eat women’s fish, but women avoid men’s fish. Some pungent fish are reserved for elders, though younger people now enjoy them with alcohol.
